ceramics isn't dying! just ask my father, who travels all over the northeast selling and repairing kilns for artists and schools. my parents have a huge collection of contemporary ceramics that have been given to my dad over the years he's been working in pottery. there are especially a lot of Asian artists in the field. maybe there just aren't many potters in your area?

Yeah, looks like it. There used to many stores around here in the midwest that we could visit, even here in te KC metro. Now there is one dying store located here in the metro and one left over in Oklahoma City and one near Rolla - which is way out of the way now that William is done with college. My Dad and I keep trying to convince Mom to go ahead and get a kiln and get molds and start pouring molds and such since it's getting so hard to find stuff here.
