It's been one week since I've been here! It feels longer, yet I haven't really gone out and done anything. The open house was great. I met all but two of my students and their parents. They all seem really awesome, and 1/3 of my class is Japanese, which is cool

hahahaha, honey, that's TARO, not sweet potato! Kinda similar, but a totally different plant :) it's a very popular Asian flavor.

It looks so awesome though - I already want to come visit!

Yeah, one of my friends is obsessed with taro flavored...everything. I've had good and bad taro stuff. It looks like a potato!

Chung's told me about the sweet potatoes there being purple, and he's brought one in to work too, it's cool to see you're trying new things though. ;)
