A long time ago, I received a signed CD of Saturnine Material & Lunatic. I never really listened to it because of the fact it was signed, until recently. A- was the disc itself signed or the booklet? I'm kind of lost there. signed by whom? Roland?
B- are you sure the song is 1992? I thought that was one Curt had played on so it was older (could take a moment to check http://www.memoriesfade.com)
C- not entirely sure what the song is about, it's just a David Bowie cover. the rest of the album are basically b-sides and some other "rarities" and "unreleased" or what-not

A- Sorry, I meant booklet, but that still stopped me from playing it for some odd-fandom reason. :) It was signed by both Roland and Curt.

B- Well, I checked the back of the CD where it has song titles along with asterisks and crosses next to them. This one had three crosses next to the name of the song, and at the bottom it said three crosses meant 1992.

C- Didn't know it was a David Bowie cover.. but thanks for the info. :)

from the Bowie perspective (I was just reminded of this)

it's a song written as a sequel to his earlier hit "Space Oddity"

It's about his idolization of David Bowie.
And there are traces of early childhood pain and neglect.
And how he wished he could be like Bowie.
Just my guess.
