Ok, I'm on my lunch break at day camp. We have one group of kids already in school ... the group here today starts back on Wed. I can't wait! :) I miss having my early mornings alone. So, day camp is almost over. It is sort of a bittersweet feeling. I like the kids and it's a good job. I love getting to know the children and their families (for the most part). So, yeah, today is my 31st birthday. My family and I were all at my sister's for a cookout, which was good. Two of my friends stopped by today with presents...which is also really sweet. I have a week and a half until honors night for day camp. After that there is a week and a half left of day camp and then comes afterschool. work seems to consume me at times. It's not a bad job, but consumption of it is. I like my job, I like the kids and the people I work with (most of the time ha). But it is with me all day every day...I can ( Read more... )
