kickboxing...

Maybe I'm just loosing interest in kickboxing...who knows...I say that the reason I never want to go is because of my depression but I'm not depressed. Maybe I'm just lazy and dont feel like it, or heres an idea maybe I dont like geting the hell beaten out of me three times a week...I'm in the advanced class but I feel like the worst person in ( Read more... )

One of the main keys to overcoming disappointments in life is learning to let go. Unless you still have that drive in you, then you really must stop and take a hiatus. A hiatus is a respite. A rest, so to speak, but not a complete break from it.
I did the same thing with another sport, although mine is more recreational than a sport. It nonetheless took a large part of my life since there were constant practicing and tournaments all around the state.
Anyways, I got so involved that I lost a relationship from it.
I stopped for a couple of years and finally got back into it this past season. This time I didn't take it seriously and I began to enjoy it again.
I say take a little break for a while.
Take up another hobby, or hell go out there and find yourself a guy.
Life is full of choices.
Make it a wise one.
