Kinda sucks, and it's something that really bothered me last term. The first time I was doing IT for business people, so I received a bit of respect for the fact that I knew more than my superiors when it came to computers. My last position was in an engineering group. The cocky bastards loved to make shit work - but here at Waterloo they're teaching us how to make things work efficiently. The extra work I put in to reflect professionalism, as you put it, was not noticed or respected.
Then again, if you were an antique of a person, would you want to take advice from a weenie-tot?

It's just that I hate getting complained about for things she 'forgot' to train me on.
But yea, I'm sure ur right, & I will get used to it.
If not, I'll find somewhere else... hopefully.
