And its all down hill from here......
Man today has had to be the worst day of my life I spent forever in the hospital which was from 6:00 in the morning to 11:20 at night and I was finally able to get home and get in the shower anywho heres the story of what happened all day long. Boy this is going to be long.......But if you love me you will read it. ♥Courtney
Well my mom got me up at 4:00 to see if I wanted to take a shower and of coasre if you had a chance to get an hour more of sleep or take a shower that wasnt really needed what would you do??? We all know the answer to that question....go back to sleep anyways thats what I sure as hell did.
When I got up at 5:00 I changed and left when we got to the hospital all the pasters from my church and my grandpas church came and prayed with my grandpa. there was so many people there for my grandpa that we took up a whole row then had to use the coffee tables to sit more infront of us. They put my pops in PreOp and gave him and IV and I gave him plenty of hugs and kisses and told him how much I loved him. I wasnt sure if it was going to be the last ime I would see him so I made the most of it.
After that the pasters left to go to their jobs which I was amazed pretures work. But anyways we moved to a different waiting room downt the hall and waited there for about 8 to 10 hrs. because my papas surgery was so long. And my Great Aunts and Uncles came at like 10:00 in the morning and stayed till 10:30 at night with us and one of my Aunts tought me how to play freecell it was cool and I read and played with my Aunts Pom pilot its was so cool!! i never really got bored untilI tried to do my homework that killed me with boredom. I couldnt listen to music because I grabbed these weird batterys because my mom was rushing me and I wasnt paying attention. And I got these batterys that you have to charge to use and they are rechargable so I had no music all day. It sucked.
Finally after the surgery we were waiting to see my pops in the ICU and my aunt which is my pops sister and my Grandma started to tear up and I hugged them and assured them everthing was fine. Everything was fine except he had a machine that helped him breathe for awhile because he was under anthesia for so long they had a hard time waking him up. But they will take him off it tomarrow and he will be better.
I tried to not cry for my Aunts and Grandmas sake but I couldnt hold the tears back they gushed out worse than anyone elses specially when I finnaly got to see papa he was very cold and had tubes going every which way he had one tube in his, neck one is his nose, and one going in his stomach it was so crazy. He was also swollen which is normal but it made me cry cuz in all my life I had never seen my loving, caring grandpa in such a state and me and my sister cried our eyes out and my grandma almost fainted so they checked her blodd sugur I know no one really cares about this but I do and I wont be back to school till Tuesday maybe later, it depends when my pops gets out of ICU. Well I gotta go I will try to post tomarrow and I will try to make it more interesting.
