Character name: Oerba Yun Fang/Fang Yun
Canon weapon/Item: Her spear. It's a bladed lance! It looks awesome.
Specific properties/abilities: The spear itself can be split into a weapon called a sansetsukon, which is a three-section staff (with blades!) She uses it canonically, for combat, obviously, and also to channel magical attacks (Flamestrike, Waterstrike, Icestrike, etc.), and it can be imbued with elemental properties (Enfire, Enthunder, etc.)
How will this be translated to Hogwarts? As is, if possible. It's pretty straightforward, and the only thing particularly special about it is that it can be split apart into a sectioned staff. The elemental properties can be explained by saying she uses it as a channeler/conduit for any elemental spells she knows.
Why do you want them to have this weapon/item at school? She's the Weapons Mastery teacher, so it'd make sense that she'd have "live steel" so to speak, for use in her class/demonstrations, etc.

Anything extra? Nope. She probably has it transfigured into something harmless looking and small when she isn't using it, because it's huge.
