raindropfloss posted a
sexy lady picspam the other day and it reminded me how much I like looking at sexy ladies, so!
So if you've ever listened to a Damien Rice song and wondered who that amazing lady is singing in the background, that is Lisa Hannigan. I am kind of obsessed with her and
this gorgeous cover of "Be My Husband" by Nina Simone, which I feel tells you everything you need to know about their relationship, from Damien not giving enough of a shit to know the name of the song they're performing, to Lisa's long-suffering tone when she tells him, and him sort of mockingly repeating it back. Ugh, I just kind of suspect that he is the worst, and it breaks my heart every time she sings, "Outside you there is no place to go," and I'm so glad she struck out on her own. Good for her.
Natasha Khan from Bat For Lashes and being a crazy hippie. Love her.
Dichen Lachman is the only reason I watched as much of Dollhouse as I ever did. As far as I'm concerned that series ended with Sierra smoking every last motherfucker in the room, and hopefully Joss while she was at it.
"Decolletage, I think, is the word, dear," [Helen] hoots. "That was caused by breast-feeding Manon. I always vowed that if I ever had a large chest then I would definitely display my decolletage from time to time, and I was true to my word."
WELL PLAYED, MADAM.
There was this stupid article in some magazine where Mary Louise Parker had made some comment about regretting a particular nude scene, pretty obviously from a technical standpoint where like, she just didn't care for how it was shot or whatever, but the article turned it into this big thing where she felt ashamed or violated or something, and MLP had this to say in a subsequent article: "They made it sound like I was like, 'They made me take my clothes off and chained me to the bathtub.' ... I mean, if you know me, it's like, someone sneezes and I take my clothes off. I'm naked in Esquire in August. I was naked on the set the other day. I'm always naked. I'm naked right now, in fact." Love. Her.
Can season four just be Tara's adventures on the road and maybe sometimes Eric and Pam and Jessica show up and we forget everyone else ever existed?
