And every time he strums his guitar, I fall a little more in love.

Apparently, my husbands long lost twin brother is on American Idol. It's uncanny. My heart melted as soon as he walked on stage. ( Want to know why I love James Durbin? )

woah that's crazy. I've heard that everyone always has one person who looks just like them in the world. :)

Apparently mine lives in Anchorage somewhere. I constantly have people come up to me only to get the 'blank face' when I turn around. lol.

Funny thing is the hubby is a musician as well. Not the high pitch wail that James has, and he def doesn't dress like James' cute lil rocker outfits ... but it's like seeing someone my hubby could have been if he made different choices in life... THEY EVEN HAVE THE SAME TWITCH.

new crush. lol. Sorry John Mayer, I still love you!

What's it like living in Anchorage? The past few years, I've been toying with going north for fun, instead of south. A few kids I know have said that Whitehorse is a great place to be in the summer (Canada--the Yukon), and I dunno. I'm intrigued. Do you see Northern light all the time omg!

Aw SUCK. I just wrote you this HUGE comment on how awesome it is up here and I get an error message. boo on that.

Well here's the short version, lol. ALASKA is awesome, living up here is like nothing you could imagine. I've been all over the world and lived in the states for 5 years. But Alaska pulls at your soul, and not because I was born here. It's something about the fresh air, the surrounding mountains (it's like they're giving you a hug... all the time) and the people. You can almost always tell an Alaskan from someone who hasn't been here that long, this place pulls at you, changes you... you'll just have to come up and experience it! I'm warning you though, you will leave a piece of your soul behind when you leave (If you manage leaving!)

The Northern Lights is amazing, though they are not out in my part of the state as much as some people think. (I'm in southern Alaska) It's like fireworks dancing with clouds that glow at night, but it's movements are so sensual and smooth. *sigh* just awesome.

That is freaky. At least you know you have a type! My husband is so tall and skinny. He reminds me so much of Spencer Reid on Criminal Minds (who is my fictional character crush of the moment). I am so attracted to that geeky sensitive beanpole type.

All of those men are so similar! They really look alike too. Seriously, you have a type! At least you found a man who fits it pretty well.

I'm kinda crushing on Eric Sheffer Stevens (Dr. Reid Oliver from ATWT) and Gale Harold these days. Both straight men who played gay guys on TV. Wonder what that says about me? But they're both so tall and slim and sensitive underneath. Just the way I like them.
