In the wake of the mad rush of excitement that is PoA, I was just wondering what my fellow Teaspooners thought about The Line being given to Hermione in the movie? Outraged? Happy? Couldn't care less?

I have a nice 1 a.m. rant here, but it could offend some people (ie Steve Cloves fans/Emma Watson fans). This is just my opinion, expressed with ( Read more... )

To put it bluntly, I think its total crap. And I think we should go find Kloves and put his head on a stick. But you know, that could just be me.

I'm peeved, although probably not as much as I would be if I took the movies more seriously. My opinion of Kloves is rather low, however -- not necessarily because he gave the line to Hermione, but because I think I remember reading an interview that basically said he hasn't read the books. Could be imagining that, but it wouldn't surprise me.

But mostly I'm too busy still being thrilled with OotP to bother getting ticked off, and I'm still going to see the movie. I just wish they'd pick a better screenwriter.

He hasn't read the books? Well, that actually explains a lot of things ;) I'm still really interested as to how they're going to do this movie without Sean Biggerstaff as Oliver Wood.

I'm still really excited about the movie too! There are a few squiffy things that bother me, but for the most part...bouncing off the walls ^^
