The gun flashes in her hand, aim true and deadly.
The ghouls claw at her, and she dispatches them with strength that belies her slight frame.
Her foot smashes the skull easily, like one of her bullets, making a halo of blood on the floor and splattering the substance all over her.
She eyes the crimson fluid on her hands with eyes that were once a crystalline blue, but now are glowing red and clouded with hunger.
She lifts the glove toward her face, tongue delicately reaching out to the red nectar, and in that moment he knows that this beautiful creature is his.
