We love Tintin at our house! I think we might all go see this one when it comes out! Not that I'm looking forward to Christmas in any way. We just got rid of winter here!
They're romance novels set in the Australian outback that my mother had. Maybe from the late 60's early 70's. Always a plucky young woman who goes out to a sheep/cattle station and manages to snag an older ranch owner because of/despite her naivete.
Hmmm, I'm doing a "read from my bookshelf" marathon this summer. I should find my mom's Lucky Walkers.
Everything I know about the Australian Outback I learned from Lucy Walker! And the Man From Snowy River, of course. :)
