But I don't know if I'm good enough any more - if I'm not actively pursuing a fandom, my triva knowledge tends to go out of the window, and I think my nerves being in the spotlight on National TV would be too great as well! :)
I must admit, you were the first person I thought of as well (also me when I was about twelve, but I'm well out of the groove now!) I can see what you mean about your nerves though... mind you, the idea of them having to replay your answers in slow-motion in order to be intelligible does have a certain appeal! ;-D
While I do probably know a few ppl who might be that fan, I'm not sure if they'd want to be subjected to the ridicule of being on National television. Then again, maybe they would. Mind if I pass this on?
Not sure that I'm that fan, although I did try to name my first born Merry! (My husband wanted to call him Christmas - so you see there could be no compromise!)

No idea if there are likely to be tickets left - it was an open call on theonering.net for fans of a certain stripe, so I imagine ordinary tickets are allocated earlier than this...
