ugh, double-casting is obnoxious enough without people pulling that kind of shit. yay for asshole directors. >_<

If you 2 are actually gonna write letters, give me Bill's address, I think I'll write one too. That woman pissed me off enough while we were still at SL, I can't believe she pulls this crap. Poor Sam =( I thought he was one of the best in what little I saw of the show. This is freaking high school, Harris is all "Oo we can do Virgina Wolfe and Cat and all these hard shows and we'll be so amazing at cappies" If she has to do this shit to the casts, then maybe a bunch of teenagers aren't the pro actors she seems to think they are. I too, no longer have a connection with that woman, and I'd be glad to help make sure she stops screwing people over ( ... )

ehh, i disagree on the "you should cast everyone evar" thing. it's cool to do that once a year or whatever, like maybe for musicals, but on the tech side of things i always thought big shows sucked ass and weren't any fun.

Well yeah, I always thought big shows were kind of fun tech wise. I agree not doing musicals alll the time. But I think high school shows should at least have a 10-15 person single cast, with maybe a double cast. If all the shows are 4 or 5 person casts, and the same actors get cast everytime, then other ppl don't have a shot and miss out.

10-15 is cool, that's my idea of a good size. i'm actually good with anything up to like.. 25. i don't like double casting, but that's me.. *shrug* i'll agree that 4 or 5 is too small, unless it's like a night of one acts or something along those lines. but above 40 actors, and i want to stab my eyes. XD

Remember what I said about marrying you? The offer stands now more than ever.

I want to write, I dunno how much good I would do but what she did was wrong. While it can't be fixed, there should be some sort of rule to prevent it from happening again.

Me: You know that if our show goes past 10:30 tonight, we're disqualified from cappies and no reviews will come out about our show, and if you really cared about your students you would put the original cappie cast up and let the intermission run 5 minutes too long.
Mrs Harris: *hissy fit*

I still hold that it's true.
