Well, the one isn't available until May, and this is an ongoing decision, so no real limit.
I thought you were all gung-ho about getting yourself hitched and breeding or else I'd have asked you. I warn you though, I'm only looking for apartments in the NW suburbs, so I don't know if you want to live here exactly. But huzzah if you do!
Yeah, though I make 14k yearly, when I budget things out it's only about 800-900 a month, which wouldn't quite cut it. Christmas time I make in the 900s (more hours), but the rest of the year I'd be struggling. So no moving yet for me! Thank you much for making me actually think logically about it! ^_^
14k wouldn't have been enough to live on down here in Normal. I doubt it would be enough for the suburbs. But make a budget, and see if there's something I'm missing.
Oh man, I would have been ok in Normal (apartments for $400? Awesome! I'd still have half my pay for the month to spend on other amenities) since I'm on my own. But up here it's tight. Thank you for the shot of common sense though! I''ll move when I make more money, lol. (AKA, my parents are stuck with me forever!)
I say stay at home and SAVE as much money as possible!
That or find a 2-bedroom for around the same price and find a roommate to split the costs.
$8700 is about 62% of your income... Between me & my boyfriend, about 64% of our combined income is going towards our rent and it is TOUGH living like this. We're living from paycheck to paycheck..
Wow, when you do the actual math like that, it's kind of an eye opener. One that I kind of needed. Just because I *could* do it, doesn't mean I should. I'll probably wait until Joe comes back from Japan and live with him somewhere. ^_~ Thank you!!!

Fast hug!() Miss you. Anyway. My advice: get a car, find a roommate later. Life at home is not that bad a proposition right at this interesting moment in the economy. All the other stuff is fun but why not check Craig's List or Recycle and see if you can pick up cheap? Be good and well 'cause the hug stays active for ninety days.

Yey! Ninety day hug from tiger! ^_^
There are very few people I could live with (or, that I would dare to subject to living with me, because I can be a bit of a terror), but I will probably go with the roomate goal for now. Or when I start making more money. Stupid economy. . .
The good news is I finally finished paying off my Japan debt! Which kind of makes me want to go again, hee hee.
I'm glad you are well and having fun in the KKM universe (I am and will always be a ConYuu shipper, though I can see why people like YuuRam)! I miss you too! Have a big hug back (with a one year guarantee)!
