I just splurged $70 on a REALLY nice ticket to Spring Awakening. Shouldn't have spent it, but I've never been to the show, have wanted to go and damnit its a nice seat.

THe music is fantastic, the sound quality is ok, lighting was kick ass. Great use of a minimal set. But it definetly felt like a high school show, it's not all that deep in terms of plot. Innovative in the same sort of way that Rent was, but not as great as rent.
There's not a lot of charcter devolopment in my opnion. But I'd still see it again.
Loved the lights.

And I like the rock reprise of "momma who bore me"
and "you're fucked"
and pretty sure I was the only one who got some of the jokes.
