There's a weird setup to how I got to this page that starts with a Skinux shirt that jlfranklin gave me and kind of wanders from there, but anyway, I came across this and thought that it should be required for all T-con security staff. We need to keep them focused.

At the very least for the furs among them.

I'm curious how it meanders from the oh-so-high-quality Skinux shirt (it was a prototype trade show shirt) to that patch.

OK, ok.... It's a nice shirt, and I'd be happy to wear a Skinux logo, but the iron-on patch has been torn up a bit from washing, so a quite nice shirt suddenly doesn't look so nice.

So... I was trying to figure out first how to get the iron-on off, and then Janet recommended that I put a sew-on patch over it. So I was looking for a patch and came across that one.

BTW, I'm thinking of sneaking into your house and messing with your washer/dryer so all your clothes will shrink. There's a lot of nice shirts there. :) I especially like that Utenzi shirt.

Not so much from washing as from not knowing how to do the iron-on the first time we tried. I figured it'd end up as scrap fabric or an oil-change shirt.

As for the Utenzi shirt... The fact that Interlan turned into Utenzi doesn't change the fact that I think of Interlan as a cool, successful place I worked and Utenzi as the dot-com flame out. There really were two separate mindsets before and after the name change. I've kept the Interlan shirt.

Most of the rest of them I liked, but I'm just a little too long in the arm for them. I'm glad they'll get use.

Hmmm...suppose I do need SOME way of identifying myself as Chief of Security during the con. But then, I was thinking more along the lines of a yellow shirt and metal sash, if I can find them within a couple weeks. ;)
