Outstanding.

I dedicated a whole weekend to it a few weeks ago. There are some really great special features on the DVDs that are very interesting. The one that deals with the score and sound editing is particularly fascinating.

I just wish the DVDs didn't divide the film into two "acts." It seems that it would have made more sense to put the original on one disc with the special features, and the redux verion on the other. I'm not sure what they were trying to accomplish by cutting the film in two.

they divide it into two? thats really bizarre, and i'm not sure i like that. it will make it harder to fall asleep to when i'm passing out. i started watching redux again last night and i'm so glad that the complete dossier includes the original. i was worried for a while that redux would be the only available version left to purchase...kind of like the re-releases of the star wars movies.
