"Sera?" The response comes from beside her rather than from behind the door. There's also a hand placed firmly on her shoulder, as if to tell her to stop moving and calm down. "What has happened?"

For a moment Sera freezes in surprise. She was focused completely on the other side of the door, instead of checking behind her.

Once she realizes that it's Gale, all the stress completely leaks out of Sera. To the point that she actually sinks down to the floor while giving a relieved sigh. She's shaking a little under Gale's hand, both from relief and exhuastion.

"You're here…Thank goodness. She was wrong…"

Gale halves his height by kneeling on the floor next to Sera. He puts an arm around her shoulders.

"Who was wrong? Are you hurt?" Protective mode activated! He begins looking her over for any injury.

"I'm fine...Just tired." In fact, her breathing is starting to stabilize. She keeps taking deep breaths to slow down her heart.

"I saw Jenna in the Nexus...She was lying about you. All of you. She said that you'd left for another Junkyard." She's able to turn around and actually look at him as she says that.

"I venture a guess that few people know what Jenna truly thinks." He looks down at his twined fingers. He's hoping she really hasn't changed that much since David knew her, that there's still some iota of human compassion somewhere in that woman.

"I cannot move about freely in Old Portland, since I am considered a terrorist. I believe one of the few things I can safely do is keep track of Jenna through the Nexus -- talk to her when I can and try to sway her opinion." Yeah, good luck on that one, Gale.

"You can let me know if you see her. Be an extra set of eyes for me, and if you speak to her, do not let her get to you as she did today."

"I-I will. I understand."

As she says that, there's a collection of thoughts whirring around in the back of her head. All of it is mulling over one point; moving about freely in Old Portland, and contact with Jenna.

It's too early to pursue that idea just yet, but she keeps it tucked away, mulling over it.
