A few days have gone by, and the passage of time hasn't provided any improvement for Sera's peace of mind. If anything, she's feeling worse. Heat still looks (and acts) feverish, and it feels like there's nothing she can do.
Sera is in the middle of turning the door nob when she hears Heat. To her credit, she doesn't jump straight into the air. But she does flinch a little out of surprise.
"Hn!?" And sputter out some nonsense as well. Once her head darts around to see Heat looking at her, she's able to get her heart to calm down a little.
"Oh...Heat. Sorry, I thought you were sleeping." She leaves the door slightly ajar as she goes over to look at him.
(I love that this response has been up for nearly a month, and I never NOTICED it or the notification.)
"A-actually," Oh this is hard to get out. She's worried about what sort of reaction he'll have to this, so she tries to make her message as gentle as possible.
"I was just going to run some errands. Borrow a few things. And then I'll be back...For a little while."
