If it makes you feel any better, I've known people to start over at older ages than you.

I hope the 'before I move on' isn't implying you'd give up a place to stay to be homeless.

No, it was more of a "if I decide to move to another city for work" kinda thing. I have no intention of giving up what stability I have at the moment, having been accepted into the family, as it were.

Right now, Gail and I are seriously discussing plans to arrange a visit for a mutual friend of ours (mine, but they met through me) to visit from the UK this year....Even more incentive for me to find employment, since the sooner saving is begun, the sooner she'll get here ^_^
