Tonight, while driving back from a dinner party with capital_l's co-workers (where we watch the Celts beat the Lakers in game 2), I decided it was time to take advantage of the slight hills in Newton and perform an experiment. Interesting experiement, but I have to say man, that's pretty dangerous. If something really unexpected happens, you may not have enough control over the car to avoid it.

Or, pull the fuse for the dashboard and rely on your stopwatch to tell how fast you're going.
