I'm trying to find out all I can on 'Azoth' as a term, ideology, ect. I understand the word as it is used in alchemy and know the illustration of the 7 pointed star in Basil Valentine's Azoth of the Philosophers, but I can find almost NO information on the book itself or any copy of it

I don't have a copy of a translated version of L'Azoth des Philosophes, but I can point you to a few sources of information. This is a translated version of some excerpts from L'Azoth, for starters. I believe the full french version is available here, but alas I don't speak french to confirm that and the file is too large for Google to translate.

Another source of information may be the book Azoth by Arthur Edward Waite, which is in English and the full text of which is available via the link to Google Books. You can even download it in pdf format.

No problem. I've spent a lot of time finding occult texts online. If you ever find a translation of Valentine's L'Azoth, let me know. I've got his Twelve Keys and his Triumphanl Chariot, but that's it.
