I hope you bought a hybrid minivan. NO responsible human should by an old-fashioned gasoline engine any more.

Well, if they sold them in the States, I would have. Same with bio-diesel - trust me, I looked. As for flex fuel minivans - only the Chrysler minivans from 98-03 (which we didn't find in good shape) and the Dodge Caravan 2006 (can't afford that) have flex fuel engines.

We had to have the space that a minivan provides (even hybrid SUVs didn't have the required amount of space), so we did what we could within our means and options.

yeah understood sorry, I get that... and my beef is with the car manufacturers and not you personally... it's just a big issue... I really want to see global warming turn around... *sigh*

Well, in the next year or two a hybrid minivan should be out from Toyota, plus Chrysler and VW have diesel planned for the US in 2008.
