Road Rage on Big Screens!
I saw War of the Worlds yesterday. Talk about the perfect reason to avoid road rage!
The movie was great, except for one thing... but me griping about it is a mild spoiler. Mild, because I'm griping about three incidental characters who have no bearing on the movie at all, whatsoever, and appeared only for the last three minutes of the movie.
Spielberg is a feel-good wuss. The movie was perfect until the ending. Even the ending was pretty good, and then he expects us to believe this: despite ALL of those young and middle-age, healthy, "normal" people who DIED throughout the attack, which consumed even backwater farming neigborhoods in po-dunk America, somehow an elderly couple and a pregnant woman living in the heart of Boston survived? WTF?! And none of that shit about the aliens dying before they got to that neighborhood... Boston lies in ruins, except for that one little neighborhood.... Bah bah bah! Oh and don't tell me you didn't know the aliens all die. It's a fucking remake for God's sake, they died in the first one. That's not a spoiler.
