[Mikey had read the message...and had gone to see Don...but now he stood out side his brothers door, hand raised to knock, before letting it fall back to his side....seriously...what was a turtle meant to say at a time like this?]

[The story of how everything ended hits Danny hard. It was all too easy to see the similarity between what his evil future self had tried to do and what had happened to Don.

But... there were too many people in the apartment he wanted to hide this from. Revealng how much it was bothering him would just make them worry. And they didn't need to.

Suddenly he felt a desperate need for solitude. For the skies. Taking advantage of everyone's distraction, he slips out the door and heads for the roof. And the closest he could get to flying right now.]

[Jazz hadn't seen whatever all the others were reading, but she could easily sense the tension that filled the apartment right after. Donatello had been in his room, Mr. Hamato and Michelangelo had gone to see him.

She'd lost Leonardo and Raphael and in her hunt for a place to make herself scarce had seen her little brothers exit out the door. Biting her lip she decides to stay in the...dojo...in the main living room. She had no idea what had gone on or what was said- but it had bugged her little brother. It would be pointless to talk to him now...so she fell back to her usual job. Decoy and distraction, luring anyone away from her brother.

Even if it meant staying in a room with anger and hurt thick enough to proverbially cut through.]

[Knuckles was trying to get to see Donatello too. He didn't know what to do, but he knew that Don shouldn't be alone, It hadn't occurred to him that the turtle probably wasn't until he heard Donatello's door open and close.

And by that point in time he was almost on the bottom of the stairs.

It was the first time he'd been down stairs since the fight with Shredder...he was not looking forward to climbing back up, moving around with a hole in your side hurt. But he could see the couch he used to sleep on from where he was. It was much much closer and he could see Don's door from it, he could wait there before either seeing Don, or climbing the stairs again, but he hadn't noticed the new girl hovering in the dojo, in the perfect spot to see the bandaged echidna struggling down the last few steps and make his way to the couch.]

[Jazz let her glance move from the doorway. As long as Danny was careful...she sighed and turned, intent on going to the kitchen for anything when she noticed the other animal that lived with them. She hadn't met him face to face, but Leonardo had been pretty thorough with the introductions and had mentioned that Knuckles was 'down for the moment'. She hadn't expected to see him bandaged up like that! Ignoring anything else she rushed over to the...guy's side.]

[Bed sounded really nice right now; after that...small adventure Leo was pretty sure he could finally get a decent bit of sleep. Then, he had glanced at the network and saw his little brothers words.

He listened and read carefully, the fatigue changing into a strange sort of detached numbness as he stared at the picture of his older self. The scars running along the larger body. He wondered briefly what was hidden under the trench coat. What had happened that left him to have to actually cover up.

This was giving him a headache...still...he couldn't help a small trill of pride. His little brother had beaten Shredder; a Pyrrhic Victory to be sure but Don has still managed what would take them a few more months to accomplish. With that description, he knew what had gone wrong. They (...weird...) had not played to their strengths, ignored their weakness and forgotten basic lessons.

And of course he couldn't help but wince at her name being mentioned. The fact that Karai had killed him was not a shock, in fact it amused Leo a little
