I know how you feel about the sister thing, and wishing she was her own person...because my sister tries to be just like me, and it's quite annoying.

Actually, my sister tries to be what everyone else is.
Like, a year or so ago, I told her about all these awesome bands, and she was like YEAH WHATEVER. And now that her rich boyfriend told her about them she loves them.
