*Once Black Arachnia left the shop, Wheeljack rolled his chair over to the computer console and began flipping the switches that would allow the system to reboot. While that was happening, he picked up the datapad she'd been using and ran an optic over its contents to get an idea of how far the femme had managed to breach the computer's systems.

*Hot Spot comes into the shop a few moments later, headache nearly gone, but not quite. He frowns as he sees the empty room except for the Chief Engineer.*

[Hot Spot] 'Jack? I got a call from Streetwise in Security. I'm sorry I'm late...is everything alright?

[techshop]

*Glancing up from his work on the computer, Wheeljack shrugs a bit.*

As it turns out, nothing was damaged or stolen. This time.

*A few final keystrokes later, the engineer turns to face Hot Spot.*

I think maybe a better question is, are you all right?

[Hot Spot]That's good. I can't say I'm too surprised actually. With all these newcomers running around, there has to be at least a few...unsavory types. Are you going to pursue the matter?

*The Protectobot rubs the back of his head, unusually sheepish.* Well I took a page out of Aid's book and had a bit more high grade than is wise with Silverbolt, but I'll be fine once my systems right themselves.

I've already sent the information on up the line, so I guess we'll see what happens.

*Wheeljack shook his head and gestured toward one of the other chairs in the office.*

Looks like you need to sit down before you fall down. And at the risk of sounding like I'm giving you a lecture, you might want to go easy on the high grade for a while. I'm not sure what it's going to do to these new chassis we're stuck with now. *shrugs ever so slightly* And the mechs that know, well.... they ain't sharing.

*The younger mech accepts the chair, careful of his new form's kibble before sitting down.* It's good advice either way, I'll be sure to take it. Let's hope we don't have anything serious happen so we have to find out just what our new limits are. I have noticed the newcomers seem rather tight-lipped about things, I don't like it. If they know something, it's only right to share it so we can all benefit. I suppose until that happens, we'll have to learn things as we go. Groove and I are actually planning to go out at some point later to see how the new forms measure up.

*He chuckles softly, leaning back in his chair.* Poor mech's been trying to stay in his new alt. form, but those antlers are getting in the way of everything. Already took out a row of mini-bots by accident. *He looks again at Wheeljack* So I heard you went out earlier. How was it?

Truthfully, it was a bit awkward at first. Everything's off balance, and I know how Groove feels about the antlers; these wings aren't exactly easy to manage either.

But... it wasn't all that bad once I got airborne, at least until I had to land. *The engineer chuckled softly* The less said about that, the better.

[Hot Spot] I'm glad I don't have anything extra like that. A tail is easy enough to manage. The only real trouble is four legs, but even that isn't so bad. Not that I won't be glad to have my real form back when it's all over. *He smiles beneath his battlemask* Oh? I'm guessing landing wasn't so easy as before, eh? I'm sure you'll get the hang of it eventually.

[techshop]

How about we say it wasn't one of my better landings and leave it at that, ok? *The engineer's headfins glowed a soft green for a few moments.*

Anyway, how are all of you getting along with these changes? I'm sorry that I really haven't had time to check in on you and your brothers, but it seems that I don't have anything else going on right now... and I think we could all use a change of scenery.

*He chuckles softly* We'll call it whatever you like, 'Jack. Even if we both know the truth.

My brothers? I haven't seen 'Aid at all really since the meeting right after the changes. He didn't look too happy though, I imagine he's finding it a difficult enough time dealing with a purely organic body. As for the rest of us...Blades probably couldn't be grouchier, though that has more to do with his actual form than anything else. Streetwise is Streetwise; comes to grips in five cycles and five cycles after that, he's completely at home. Groove seems pleased enough, even if his new form is giving him some troubles. As for me? *shrugs* Well, it's interesting. I'm more worried about the fact that we can't merge anymore. Not to mention losing the advantages of my old form. Let's just say my spark won't shatter when we're back to normal.

You know, if you ever want to come out with us, you're more than welcome. *He smiles softly.* We haven't seen you in a while. And it might help you relax a bit.
