op-ed. Essentially he states the obvious: blogs are a form of self-indulgence and a place for exhibitionists to flex. Yes, fine. They also serve as a forum for people to debate ideas. I agree with the point about political struggle. I also think the on-line community will change there as more people get internet access at home. In Russia about 15-20% of households have internet compared to about 70% in the U.S. I expect these are also the higher income and more politically aware households. So how are things with you and your studies?

It is interesting how one’s writing style changes when one has an audience. I find the same thing. Sometimes, I’ll compose imaginary e-mails to my boss or co-worker just to work out my thoughts.
