I really enjoyed reading this. The communal eating is something I've noted in my experience of the Temple too.

I'm glad you found it informative! I enjoy writing about where I'm from; I realise that a good majority even of the people I know fairly well here don't know too much about the details of my culture, and I like to inform people, the better that they may understand why we have led the lives we have.

I also find it fascinating that you share similar experiences to myself. I confess I always find myself curious as to how yours differe from mine, and how they are the same. Regardless, it's always nice to encounter someone who knows at least something of home.
