So I went to the theatures today with my dad to see Borat... definately a poor choice for the two of us to see. It was probably the most rediculously offensive thing I have ever seen outside of the internet and I am ashamed to admit I nearly pissed myself laughing. A lot of it I could have done without, though. Next time I'll make sure I research ( Read more... )

You went to see Borat with DAD?????? What were you thinking???? Was he just totally offended, or did he think it was funny?

I agree on the wierdness of the movie. I definantly laughed alot, but left feeling confused as to wether the movie was really good, or really really really bad.

We didn't know it was going to be raunchy. What happened was that I was originally going to see a movie with one of the old scouts from my troop, mostly to catch up because everyone's been away at collage. The plans got cancelled on my way to the theature and I was really dissapointed. So the next day, dad was like "well how about we go see a movie together." I couldn't think of any movie I actully wanted to see, but it was supposed to be more of a Dad and son bonding thing, so I went with it for Dad. Problem was there was not much to choose from that wasn't either a little kids movie or just not not my thing. So I ended up choosing Borat because it was the only one that I heard was hilarious. We went practically right after I made the decision, so I didn't have much time to actully research the movie (I really, REALLY need a better internet connection). Pretty much my own bad ( ... )
