Everything is fine until I put in that 3rd gig of ram. When I do the motherboard no longer sees the video card and gives me the same error message. I don't know what's up but I don't want to have wasted $50 on ram that I can't use.

I have no clue. When there are 2 gigs in everything runs fine, but when I put in that 3rd stick the motherboard no longer can register that the video card is there. I'm stumped and really pissed because if I can't use that last stick of ram I just wasted the money on it.

My bet is that Windows or your BIOS is trying to load your video card as another source of RAM. Since your the video comes back with only 2Gb loaded, that's about all I can think of.
