Well I found out last week that the only financial institution that will give me student loans for school is going under because of the failing economy and that my loans for school have been canceled for the remainder of my time. Which means I just got kicked out of school if I can't find another lender, which is very slim, or if all the grants

Look up Direct Loans, they work with most schools down here.

Oh man Shaun that sucks! :( Are you out of Stafford unsubsidized loans? That was the only way I was able to go to school last fall, as I still had some eligibility left. I think that you were out of them though. Can you get financing from USAA maybe? Or does the navy bullshit screw that up? I'm not really sure where else to get loans from, as I've been stuck with Sallie Mar from day one. I think most banks at least used to give out private school loans, like Chase, and BOA and such. Maybe local ones there? You should be able to get with a supervisor up the ranks and explain how your first BA was with the ROTC, and thus is completely useless for you now. *hugs*
