So, I FINALLY tracked down the last of our bridesmaid's dresses! It's been at the manager's office for god only knows how long! And, of course, UPS never bothered to let us know. Nice

the good thing about black is that you could, worse comes to worst, just get a black dress and wear that from any department store

David's also has black and apple, you might be able to get one off the rack if you have one near you.

Exactly what we were thinking. It was a problem finding appropriate dresses at the dept. stores about 3 weeks ago--they were all floral and/or cotton and there were no black or red dresses. But, we went to the mall yesterday and it seems that the fall lines are finally out. So, that suddenly became a great option.

And because the dress is for Mary, Monique's bridesmaid, it doesn't REALLY matter if her dress is way different from my girls. Also, Mo's other attendant is a guy in a tux...so, we were thinking about putting her in a dress that mirrored that look anyway.

Finally, the dresses we ordered were from David's online, so anything off the racks at the MANY David's Bridal locations in our area would also be feasible.

Thank you for your seemingly obvious suggestions--but, they were ones that I could not possibly have thought of until I was able to think and breath.

Crisis averted.

i would have been PISSED to see that yellow dress. probably would have killed someone.
