As you probably know, I adore Rachel Maddow - a voice of sanity in a maelstrom of surface news blatherings. Thank you for spotlighting this particular item.
I make no bones about the fact that I'm partisan as hell; however, the side I favor does not stoop to undermining the very fabric of our democracy by running blatant witch-hunts against voters that might not favor their side.
The 67 county voter registrars - and it should be noted the one Rachel interviews is a Republican - showed laudable backbone in resisting the governor's underhanded attempt to strong-arm them into serving his nefarious purposes.
These civil servants deserve kudos for displaying nonpartisan integrity in the best possible way.... real patriots indeed1 There's hope yet.

I'm glad to see them standing up. This kind of thing is very troubling and now I just have to plug my ears and run away from it a lot of the time.
