So, yes, it HAS be a while since I posted here, I know.

But I had a quiet Sunday to myself, so I'm taking a moment to catch up.

When last I sat down to write here, I think I had just begun working for a security company as a guard, and I was being shuttled all around their various corporate contract sites, mostly huge office towers in the Toronto

Thanks, Bob, for this delightful, upbeat post! I am so happy you've found regular employment! The work environment sounds the opposite of the one I've been in for over two years. Sadly, the sadness and other issues I've discussed with you have to be filtered through that prism.

I'm also very happy to hear that your health is good. It's so hard to believe that it's been close to 7.5 years since we wandered the streets of Toronto together. You made that city very special and it's simply unacceptable to me that I don't have the time and means to get there anytime soon!
