Wow, it has been awhile!

I never really planned to abandon LJ. But, over time, I got out of the habit of posting here, and then forgot my log-in details, and, well, five years slipped away.

However, now that I know my account is still here, and I figured out how to get back into it, I look forward to re-connecting with this great community.

Bob! So glad to see you back!! I've continued on LJ, though it has changed over time. Still, there are things I can't and won't share on Facebook and this is where I write the more personal, more in-depth posts. If you've noticed I go to FB to post photos more than write.

I would recommend using DreamWidth.org as a backup ... recently the Russians who own LJ announced that content will now be judged using the laws of the Russian Federation, which means that any mention of the gay is potentially enough to get you banned and deleted. You can back up your entire LJ, including comments, onto Dreamwidth and then blog on Dreamwidth and have it automatically crosspost to here.
