Weight check up

Mar 25, 2010 22:32

So this month I have lost another 2 inches so my total is now 8.5 inches lost. I have officially lost a pound. My original measurement measured me at 178, in February I measured at 180 and I now weigh 177. Supposedly. Also my body fat percentage went down by 3.34 lbs or 1.7% and my BMI went down by .17%

This got long...sorry

So my total inches lost from Jan 18 to March 22 break down:

Bust: 1.5
Waist: 1.5
Abdomen: 2.5
Hips: 2.5
Arms: 2

I feel like my body is almost plateauing. I know i've lost inches and still going down but not nearly the speed/way I would expect with everything I am doing. I work out at Curves 5 days a week and burn 500+ calories, and I do Gymnastics for more then an hour as my teacher likes us twice a week. I dont eat fun stuff much AT all.... I dunno. Curves is also starting to get on my nerves..well the head "instructor". I go to Curves to lose weight but it has also become my stress reliever...when I want to punch a customer I work it out at Curves. So between that and the fact that my adrenaline is rushing as I am working out hard I am a little snappy though I really try hard not to be. I just feel like she is ignoring everyone else in what they are doing wrong and only going to me. Like this one machine...you push a lever back with one foot while the other is supporting you. I cant keep my foot down the whole time as it starts to kill my knee so I let it move a little. She starts to get on me about it, I try to explain why I do it, she doesnt back down, I say Okay a coupe times trying to stop the conversation because I know I am getting testy and she continues on and I dont lose it but I made a tense comment back that ended the conversation. Meanwhile we have someone doing one machine for 10 seconds (supposed to do it for 30), with completely wrong form, running to a recovery board for 5 seconds (again supposed to do it for 30 seconds) and runs across the room to another machine (supposed to do it in a circular rotation) and she has nothing said to her. I am the only one working very hard (yes a lot of them are older but I really think they could do a little more if they just tried), I am there all the time, and I try to keep my foot down (keeping with this example) it just some days I cant if I had previously bumped my knee on something earlier in the day (completely prone to do that). Plus I am getting frustrated with the actual machines. The machine I have been talking about is the ONLY machine that doesnt turn red (red is bad..green is good) when I do it. The other two leg machines ...i cant figure out....no matter what I do it turns mostly red so to make a change that will cause the only leg machine that I can do to turn Red more then green....no way! Plus they have 2 machines for abs and 6 for legs, 6 for arms. That makes your arms and legs turn really nice but my trouble spot is not my arms/legs...its my abdomen. I am starting to feel like my arms/legs are getting very nice but I have this blob in the middle. We actually talked about this at my second curves (the one I go to on my days off), a curves is closing in Charleston and they are getting more equipment so they are getting duplicate ab machines to even it out more.

Here are the pictures...you can see the muscle definition much better in person. I do still feel like I have the Ice cream scoop problem. My lower legs nice and slim and muscular (my quads are getting huge) but as you get up the hips one big blob). When I make a muscle in my arm there is definite line and when I make a muscle in my back you can basically point out each specific muscle. If you put them side by side you can tell that I am a little slimmer and tighter but thats about it. I did take pictures of me in my work out clothes so you can see how clothes are fitting. I think I will keep up with that as well

Here is the link to last month if you want to try and compare them both. It is not a drastic change...I really feel you could see it clearer in person.
