100 things to do before I die (like I said, someone else's list, but I'm playing along) Things I've already done in blue. Snurched from DJ
1. Started your own blog (Yes, obviously, otherwise I'd never do any of these little things)
2. Slept under the stars (Been all together too long since I have, camping stuff in the basement I just need to get a weekend of
3. Played in a band (We talked about it a bunch at speed school, I would have been the basist default because I'm the lagest of an otherwise scrawny group)
4. Visited Hawaii (Never been a beach person, but after seeing Forgetting Sarah Marshal I'm rethinking it)
5. Watched a meteor shower (one of those nights I slept under the stars. New moon that night too so everything was so clear it was sweet. I was 17 we were in West Virginia)
6. Given more than you can afford to charity (yeah, yeah, lay on the guilt)
7. Been to Disneyland (twice in fact, only once that I actually remember in detail)
8. Climbed a mountain (you're joking right? The three tallest peaks in Tennesse, tallest in Virginia and Maine, Baldy in New Mexico which was the first time I'd crossed the tree line, wishe there'd been snow on top)
9. Held a praying mantis (yes, and learned a praying mantis form as well)
10. Sang a solo (I enjoy singing but I've never been in a choir or other singing group)
11. Bungee jumped (I won't say never, like never ever because you can't ever really say never, but I've got a feeling that I"m more likely to join a circus than bungee jump)
12. Visited Paris (no specific interest actually, or at least I'm not going to feel like I missed out)
13. Watched a lightning storm (watched several really love electrical storms, seen snow with lightning too, very cool)
14. Taught yourself an art from scratch (I'm going to claim yes because I taught myself origami)
15. Adopted a child (may eventually, but not soon)
16. Had food poisoning (not yet, I'm sure it'll happen eventually)
17. Walked to the top of the Statue of Liberty (never even seen it)
18. Grown your own vegetables (tiny carrots, it was cute)
19. Seen the Mona Lisa in France (France really isn't on my to do list in any capacity)
20. Slept on an overnight train (twice)
21. Had a pillow fight (I'm reasonably certain that I have)
22. Hitch hiked (no, I'm not an idiot)
23. Taken a sick day when you're not ill (hasn't everybody?)
24. Built a snow fort (and a snow cave and an igloo and a snow elephant . . .)
25. Held a lamb (that's probably a maybe, but I'm not sure, so no)
26. Gone skinny dipping (no desire)
27. Run a marathon (I learned how to fight so I wouldn't have to run)
28. Ridden in a gondola in Venice (might be cool some day)
29. Seen a total eclipse (at least once, lunar as well)
30.Watched a sunrise or sunset (a ton of both)
31. Hit a home run (does it count if it's in a video game?)
32. Been on a cruise (not my thing)
33. Seen Niagara Falls in person (was a really fun trip)
34. Visited the birthplace of your ancestors (I will some day)
35. Seen an Amish community
36. Taught yourself a new language (maybe some day)
37. Had enough money to be truly satisfied (what is satisfied?)
38. Seen the Leaning Tower of Pisa in person
39. Gone Rock climbing (repelling and such was fun, but I didn't enjoy it enough to pursue it now)
40. Seen Michelangelo's David (not critical to my happiness)
41. Sung karaoke
42. Seen a geyser erupt (not yet, but it'll be cool)
43. Bought a stranger a meal at a restaurant
44. Visited Africa (not yet, but I'd enjoy that too)
45. Walked on a beach by moonlight (I'm just really not a beach person)

48. Gone deep sea fishing
49. Seen the Sistine Chapel in person
50. Been to the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris (that's the most red I've had in a row it's a bit discouraging, I was doing so good)
51. Gone scuba diving or snorkeling (yup that was a very bad trip for a lot of reasons, sorry Kirk, strictly speaking it was your fault, but as a friend I still could have done better)
52. Kissed in the rain (it feels like it was a long time ago)
53. Played in the mud (that I know was a long time ago)
54. Gone to a drive-in theater (I don't know where there is one to go to)
55. Been in a movie
56. Visited the Great Wall of China (want to)
57. Started a business (not started, but am currently running)
58. Taken a martial arts class (taken, taught, started)

63. Got flowers for no reason (always had a reason when I bought flowers even if it wasn't a holiday or event)

66. Visited a Nazi Concentration Camp (one of those things I feel like everyone should do, but I haven't yet)

94. Had a baby (starting to suspect that this list wasn't written by a male what with the girl scout cookies question and this)
95. Seen the Alamo in person

97. Been involved in a law suit
98. Owned a cell phone (a few)
99. Been stung by a bee (and wasps, ants, hornets, and a velvet ant once which really sucked)
100. Read an entire book in one day (always by choice and on several occasions)
