Character history-
Hailey Beth Stokes was born to Nick and Faith Stokes on March 5th, 2003, The second of two children (Faith had an adopted son, Kioshi, from a previous marriage), and the first biological child born to the both of them. The two had been ecstatic at the news of a child, and had chosen to keep the gender of the baby a surprise; when she was born, however, the little girl was named Hailey, after a teenage girl who Nick had grown close to while investigating multiple murders at a local hotel, and who had been killed herself by her adopted mother.
Despite the story behind the name, the couple was determined to make sure that their little girl knew she was loved, and that her older brother knew he was loved as well. Years passed, and Hailey grew up into a delightful, happy young girl. She loved her parents, loved her older brother, loved her teddy bear ... heck, she loved life in general. She looked up to her older brother, Kioshi, and loved him as if he were her blood-related older brother.
Faith had long since gone back to work, after taking a year off after Hailey was born to take care of her and Kioshi, while Nick had continued his work as a CSI the entire time in order to provide for his family. While her parents were at work, she often had Kioshi looking after her, which proved to both strengthen their bond, and also give them an opportunity to be as a big brother and older sister ... arguments and all.
Hailey also was very close with her cousins, Matilda and Alexis, and saw and played with them often, seeing as their parents were also good friends to each other. She connected really well with Alexis, in particular.
As Hailey grew older, it became more apparant that she was a daddy's girl. She loved both of her parents, certainly, but she loved spending time with her dad as much as possible, and even started taking an interest in his line of work as a CSI. Despite Nick's protests at how dangerous his line of work was, Faith managed to convince him to take Hailey along with him to 'Take your Daughter to Work' day one year. Hailey didn't get to see a lot of things (she couldn't go into the forensics lab, for example), but what she did see, she was extremely excited about, and she couldn't get enough. By the time she turned six, she knew a lot more about CSI work than she probably should have.
Time passed, and one day tragedy struck. Her cousins had both disappeared, leaving everyone very worried, and on a wild goose chase for the missing children. Hailey, who was just as frantic as everyone else was, wanted to help find her cousins, but wasn't allowed to, primarily due to her age. Months passed, and no sign of Mattie and Alex. People were starting to lose hope of ever finding them ... Hailey never did. She kept up hope that they were out there somewhere, safe, and that they'd be found soon.
Hailey was about to find out exactly where her cousins were, however. Shortly after her seventh birthday, she was taken, too.
Character personality-
Oh, come on, now. Hailey's seven. She's a cheerful little girl, with a love and a curiosity for most anything and everything ... especially if it's of the CSI nature. Yes, yes, she's daddy's little girl, and she wants to know everything she possibly can about the CSI world ... but she's limited in her knowledge of the darker aspects of it for the time being, due to how young she is. Yeah, she'll learn eventually.
Hailey normally carries around a teddy bear, a gift to her on her third birthday, and her favorite thing in the whole world next to her family. She also has a tendency to 'speak' through the teddy bear, often holding the bear close to her ear and then saying "Well, Teddy says ..." Basically, voicing her own wants through the teddy bear. Yep. She's such a kid.
When she cries, she cries. And she's not opposed to throwing a tantrum. She IS seven years old, after all.
Also, she's very huggy. And cuddly.
Digimon personality-
Phascomon, or "Teddy," is basically Hailey's teddy bear come to life by the magic of the digital world. As such, he CAN talk, but he chooses not to all the time; this is probably because he's so used to Hailey talking FOR him. But he does have a mouth, and he does know how to use it ... when it's necessary.
When he's not being carried around by Hailey and being spoken for by her, he's just chillin' and doin' whatever he feels like. He's quiet. He doesn't make much of a big deal out of things. He's cool. He's calm. He's collected.
But don't get him wrong. Don't misjudge him.
He can kick some major booty if anyone so much as dares to try and touch his tamer.
Character abilities-
Despite being so young, Hailey does have a pretty decent amount of knowledge about CSI work. Other than that? She's really got nothing special. Except quite a bit of courage for someone her age.
Sample RP-
"N-Nn ..."
Hailey opened her eyes slowly, her vision coming into focus slowly as light flooded her senses. The first thing she realized was that she wasn't clean. At all. She felt so unclean, as if she had just been rolling in the dirt. She pushed herself up, taking the sleeve of her jacket and wiping her cheek a little, looking back at her sleeve afterward to see a new spot of dirt on it.
How did she end up out here? She looked around. She didn't recognize this place.
Okay. Now she was scared. She looked around again, frantically grasping at the thought that there was something here she had to recognize. She had to. She had to. Her heart rate rose, and she swore she could hear it.
"M-Mommy?" She asked quietly, sucking in a breath. She shivered. Was she alone?
"Daddy ..?" She asked, looking in the other direction. She was alone.
.. No, not completely alone. A small koala lay not too far from where she was. She bit her lip again, taking the koala into her arms and hugging him tightly.
Still ...
It was enough to cause the little girl to start sobbing, crying out for her mother and father.

...
Um. My ... partner, is it? Yes, she's a little girl. And she's crying. She wants her mother and father.
Mister and Missus Stokes, if you're here at all, Hailey needs you.
Ah, please don't cry ...
It's all right, Hailey. Everything will be all right.
