Oh no! At least you found him quickly. My great-grandmother used to grab her purse and head down the street when she was living with my grandparents (when my mother was a teenager.) Neighbors would see her and ask her where she was headed. She always responded that she was going to her home town (which I can't spell.) They told her, "Oh, Ms. Coke, it's this way," and led her back to my grandparents' house. This was a weekly occurrence. (She had some dementia.)

Glad the rents have you! Sorry about your Dad flying the coop. But glad you found him quickly and he was fine. Also glad your Mom is 'goin' to rehab' ;-) Seriously I'm happy she is doing so well after surgery.
