They are. When I worked in local papers, whenever we were stuck for a feature I'd just go out to a primary school and get the kids to answer questions, like 'what's great about your mum?' for Mother's Day, or 'What's scary?' for Hallowe'en - and we'd always get brilliant features out of it.
