It'll be a trying few days, that's for sure. Eli (our next-youngest cat) ran away from her, with his tail all puffed up, when she came home from the vet. I think the combination of her odd smell and weird headgear freaked him out. Hopefully the other cats have worked out who she is now - they're all usually very sweet to her.
It's the people who don;t get their cats done who are the cruel ones - but you can't expect gratitude from a cat, it's so against their grain it'll give you splinters. :o)

Poor thing. She'll completely forget about it in a couple of days, but those first couple of days, oh my.
