ted i enjoyed that....its not often that i get to hear from a conservative that has their damn head on their sholders, and actually brings proof to the table...now for my response.(you'll like it, it's so liberal, its conservative). First off, i would have to agree with those who say "you Catholics are to extream...." but wait there's more...i'll throw you in with the rest of the lot...mormans, prodistants, advantists, islams, hindu, Jews, muslims...yeah, thats right just about every organized religion in the world. So dont feel discriminated against. As for the death penalty ted, i must dissagree with you...there are too many people in this world as it is, and if we have a chance to remove some of them, much less some of the scum in this world, i would take the opportunity. Now that leads us to the Shiavo matter, i have the most simple of solutions. It reduces the worlds population by 3. somebody hires a compatent person to do a job for them...this job would be to break into the hospice, and gain acess to Shiavo's room. upon ( ... )

First off Shaunanthan, if you say one more thing about religion I am going to hurt you severely. There is no too extream. Yes I am Catholic, but honestly, it is just how you view it. There is no such thing as a too extream religion. What you are witnessing there, is someone with a passion. Some would argue that swimmers are too extream. Now I ask you, are you too extream Shaun? No, you are very passionate. I may not obide by all of my Catholic rules, and such, but I still believe in it very much, and I am passionate about it. Another way to put this, if you find a way around the swimming metaphore, is are you too extream about me? I would be so bold as to answer that for you. No, you aren't you are passionate. Now for Ted's post. Ted, I enjoyed it very much, and I agree with so much that you have said. But I am with everyone else. Next time could you perhaps pace yourself? Or maybe take water breaks? Cause I know that I needed one, no X that, like four. Thanks kid, hope everything is going well for you!

Wow, your lack of understanding of the court/federal government is astounding. Terri's parents exhausted all their legal options because this was a state matter. Congress then passed, and Bush signed, a special piece of legislation that made it a state matter. This was unconstitutional, and a severe breach of that whole checks and balances system. This is why every federal court they subsequently went to said "You already had every opportunity to have your case heard in the state courts" and some even said "It's unconstitutional for us to even be hearing this right now." I respect your right to have whatever opinions you want about Terri's right to live or die and to feel however you want about public opinions of Catholics, but I do think that every American citizen should have a basic understanding of our government's structure ( ... )
