My poor kitty jumped up next to me on the couch and I had a candle on the edge of the wooden TV tray right next to me and her tail went right into the flame. She didn't even know anything happened other than she kept sniffing the air I think trying to figure out the bad smell lingering in the air of burnt hair. I gave her a treat and some NIP afterwards as well and she cracked out on the nip so she was a happy camper.
