Yeah, I read the first 2 Meyers books. The girls coming into the shop, 16 or so and wanting books like that. They wanted to read Anita Blake. Which, while fun for the first 6 books or so, jumped the shark, into a cavernous clusterfuck (pun intended) of, what is probably the most prolific and rampant case of Mary Sueism, ever put into mass
