Dig dig dig
Put in the garden this weekend. Chris did most of the building of frames and putting up of fence, and I did most of the digging. Plus a bunch of stirring. Mostly stirring. Well, I was at work today helping with student demos -- demoing lampworking techniques to area students to try to generate more interest in the hobby of playing with fire and molten glass. Went for a bit of a bicycle yesterday. Well... a lot of a bicycle. The backstory: I've decided that with the advanced age of our truck, the fact that we are working just fine as a single vehicle family so getting a little car for in town trips is just not an option, since the cost of car payments and insurance would not balance the savings on gas. Whee, snow
Well, I just got done spending about two hours working on the driveway and sidewalk. Corner lots with fire hydrants take extra work in snowy weather. At least we have one heck of a nice snowblower (thank you retiring faculty who moved to Florida and sold us yours for a sixpack of beer).
