Donate Blankets

I have a bunch of blankets, mostly knit afghans from relatives that I don't need anymore. Does anyone know where I can donate these to? I'd rather not get rid of them due to sentimental value, but really, how many acrylic afghans can one have? My kids actually didn't like using them because they were so "holey" and got hands and feet stuck in them

I was going to suggest Lowell Wish Project, too. They are *always* in need of blankets.

How about calling up a local church and see if they accept donations for unwed mothers or something like that? St. Vincent de Paul in your area??
