I cried twice tonight (edit: I cried twice when I found out, then right before writing this entry, then while writing it, now I'm crying again and I can't stop), but there's nothing we can do :( I can never wish you luck, Xabi, because you're not with us anymore, but I wish you happyness which you deserve.

I wish there was an easier way to handle it :(
He's so adorable and you just can't help liking him, so it feels like someone broke up with you after this five years relationship (which feels even more depressing since I started dating my fiance who happens to have a ginger beard one week after Rafa signed Xabi).
And it does feel like "it's not you, it's me" kind of breaking up.

i don't feel sad, i feel angry. i know it's unfair to him, but i can't help it right now. As a fan, it's hard for me to understand why anyone would want to leave.

Xabi seemed like the last person who would want to leave :/ he's been through so much with us

it just dawned to me that now, only Carra and Stevie are left from the CL winning team of '05! :(

it also rakes my nerves when i think of the way we were shouting his name(when they played the friendly against Singapore last July)and urging him to stay, when all the while he already wanted to leave since May!

Carra and Stevie were there before, during and after... and now it seems like everyone else just left them, I'm really hoping we can win something this season and it better be EPL, so people never ever leave us without becoming champions

Sigh i know. This has got to be one of the most, okay no the MOST painful transfer I've seen. I will always associate Xabi with Liverpool and anything else just seems so wrong. I cried when i first read about it, such immense disbelief that its official done and dusted even though the crazy speculations were supposed to prepare me for it. I'll miss him so so much :(

tbh, if it happened like it did with Cris and Kaka, I don't think there would be less pain or bitterness about him leaving, but at least we wouldn't have to suffer so much... I couldn't stand the hope
